So much imagination with this one, almost like a caricature

Sense My Space- 3rd 3D piece

 

As one of the reasons why I adore the swing is the sensation of flight I decided to make a piece based on it. I had discovered a friend goes hunting and asked him wether he would have any feathers/wings to represent the sensation of flight that I experience while on the swing. He produced two wings and various tail feathers, so I mounted them on a strechted canvas.

 

 

Sense My Space: 2nd 3D piece

I found a frame and decided to turn it into another swing. I added a base so as to keep it steady and standing up and stained it. I made the swing seat from wood and added hooks for the wire on both the seat and the top of the frame. At first i was going to hang the seat by fishing gut/wire but I had a some chains from jewlllery making and decided to use these as the actual swing has chains also.
